Focus mode
Calmly Writer has been designed to help you focus on writing. As you start typing, all the distracting options disappear from the user interface.
The "focus mode" option highlights only the paragraph you are editing at the time.
Formatting
Format your text simply by selecting and clicking on the desired style.
If you prefer, you can also do it with keyboard shortcuts or markdown (see FAQ).
Autosave
As long as you do not close a document tab, that document will be opened every time you start the application. If the document was not saved, its backup will be loaded.
Word count
Calmly Writer displays the number of words and characters written, and allows you to set a target.
Color themes
You can choose between light, dark, dark blue, dune and old school mode.
